Well, I have good news. I went to see the fracture specialist and me knee is not fractured. That makes me happy. It is, however, chipped. There are little fragments of bone floating around in there but there’s nothing really to be done about it. I’m starting to be able to put a little bit of weight on my leg, so that’s also a good thing. The doctor said I should be able to walk properly in a couple weeks but that my neck had muscle spasms so it won’t stop hurting for a couple months. All in all I’m fairly happy though, this accident could have had much, much worse results. One little tip though! Don’t wear your keys on your belt loop if you plan on being hit by a car. The will stab you in the thigh and it will really hurt. They will also leave a nasty huge bruise.
I went to my job interview regardless of the giant splint on my leg. I really wanted the job, and now that I’ve had the interview I want it even more. I think it went quite well, although I am probably not as qualified as some of the other applicants. However, I really liked the two women who interviewed me and I think it’s an environment I could do really well in. Plus it’s a super fun job! So everyone cross your fingers for me!
I’m still not sure about school yet. If I get this job I will postpone school for another year. If I don’t get the job then I’m still hoping to go in September but everyone is being so slow at getting back to me on anything school related. I’m running out of time.
Here’s some newsy tidbits that amused and / or horrified me today.
Oh Wales. How I miss your insane street signs. This one takes the cake though. Amusing.
Kittens and pork chops! Mmmmmmmmm. Horrifying.
Hilary Clinton’s bust at the museum of sex! Amusing.
Wayward squirrel. Amusing.
Poor little millionaire. I’ll take it off his hands. Amusing yet stupid.
Noone saw this coming? Nigerian computer scandal. Horrifying that the British are this dumb.
No more Simpsons in China! Oh well.
That’s it from me! I’m going to take some codeine and take a nap. My knee is doing this weird throbbing thing, and as lovely as it is, I think I may prefer to sleep through it.
“as wonderful as it is”
Hahaha! I laughed a good one out over that one.
You keep saying dream job, but I have no idea what that’d be.

I could have lived the rest of my life happy and content had I not read the kitten/pork chop article … sick!
