Sick AGAIN.

Well, stuff all the happiness of last night; clearly it was never meant to be. Right before I went to bed, I felt the nasty head cold of last week returning. My nose was runny, my ears plugged and my throat swollen with what felt like razorblades. I went to class this morning, and was fairly promptly told by my teacher Christine that I should go home. On my way home I went to Shoppers and got some medicine, but still laid on the couch all day feeling like death.

Being home for the day, I did get to watch a lot of news. I’m very shocked to find out that Sinn Fein has voted to recognize and cooperate with the police. I think it’s a very productive decision and is good for the political future of Northern Ireland.

In other interesting news, archaeologists in England have uncovered what is believed to be a village that housed the builders of Stonehenge.

I’m quite upset that I’m ill again, because I hate missing school. It’s one of my biggest fears that I’m going to get behind and botch the whole course. I did email my teachers and make sure that I wouldn’t be penalised for missing today, but I still don’t like it. And I missed the IABC seminar that I wanted to attend. I’m still feeling awful, and don’t predict much better for the morning, but I can’t miss tomorrow because we have speakers coming in to class, and my graded analysis of them is worth 10% of my final mark. So today clearly sucks. I feel terrible. I’m going to bed.

    Get well Lindsay, get well.
I bet it was that duck! Yuck! I don’t care much for chicken either, but “duck!” Nasty, Lindsay. Glad I don’t put everything in my mouth that you do.
    Get better!
